We’re pleased to announce a new editorial collaboration between TDM.Space and Shop Drop Daily, launching with the first edition of our ongoing series: Notes from Ginza.
“Notes From…” is a new TDM.Space feature focused on documenting standout retail environments in major cities around the world — approached with the same level of care, precision and post-production as our commissioned work.
The series begins in retail photography in Tokyo, where our Creative Director Tom Morgan spent time walking through Ginza, capturing a selection of the district’s most considered flagship stores. The result is a set of clean, carefully composed images that focus on architecture, material, proportion and overall presence — a more considered alternative to the quick snapshots these spaces are often reduced to.
We’re pleased to be launching the series in collaboration with Shop Drop Daily, who are hosting Notes from Ginza as an exclusive feature.

Notes from… Ginza
This marks the start of an ongoing collaboration, with future editions already planned across retail photography in New York, retail photography in Paris, retail photography in London and beyond.
Alongside the core “Notes From…” series, we will also be working together on additional editorial formats — including studies of scale and proportion, and material language — documenting how the best retail environments are designed and executed in physical space.
If you’re planning a flagship store or retail environment and would like it captured with the same level of care, get in touch: info@tdm.space
